Founded in 2024, Wilton Warriors FC was born out of the rapid growth and increasing demand for local football in the Wilton area. The club was the vision of six passionate individuals—Alyce Pike, Brendan Bird, Cassandra Turner, Chris Turner, Dean Pike, and Samantha Bird—who saw the need for a community-focused football club to unite the area and provide opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.

With a shared vision and determination, the founders worked tirelessly to establish Wilton Warriors FC as a beacon of grassroots football. Their efforts were rewarded in July 2024 when the club received official approval from the Macarthur Football Association, marking a significant milestone in its journey.

As the club began to take shape, the founding team was joined by four dedicated individuals—Brendan Smith, Craig Darragh, Keeley Taylor, and Stacey Smith—who brought fresh energy and expertise to the committee. Together, they shared a common goal: to build a club that would not only compete on the pitch but also foster a sense of community, inclusivity, and pride in Wilton.

On the 1st of August 2024, Wilton Warriors FC was officially incorporated, solidifying its place as a registered entity and marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for football in the area.

In a further boost to the club, Ash and James Lindsay joined as general committee members, rounding out the committee to a total of 12 members. Their inclusion brought a shared commitment to the club’s mission, ensuring a well-rounded and dynamic team to guide the Wilton Warriors FC into its first season.

Season 2025 will be the inaugural year for Wilton Warriors FC as the club becomes affiliated with the Macarthur Football Association. This affiliation marks a new era for the club, providing a platform to compete in organised competitions and further establish its presence in the region. In their first season, the Warriors will boast over 350 registrations across age groups ranging from Under 5s to Over 35s—a remarkable achievement that highlights the overwhelming support from the community for this new club.

With a solid foundation in place and a passionate committee, the club is dedicated to expanding its programs, nurturing local talent, and creating a lasting legacy for future generations. As the Warriors look ahead, their focus remains on fostering a culture of inclusivity, excellence, and community engagement.
